My office
I am so happy you are here! Thank you very much for considering me to be a part of your personal growth. I understand that seeking support and choosing a therapist is a difficult decision. It is my hope that you and I can work together to achieve your goals.

My intention is to create an atmosphere where you can freely express yourself and heal. My hope is to bring warmth, trust, safety, and compassion to our sessions and maybe even throw in some humor.

I grew up in Saint Johns and earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Florida State University. After graduating, I spent five years living in northern Virginia, where I loved being close to Washington, D.C., and experiencing its vibrant culture. However, I missed the Florida sunshine and decided to move back to Saint Johns. Now, I cherish spending time with my husband, daughter, and parents.

My journey to becoming a therapist began with art. I discovered that creating art was deeply healing for me, and I felt compelled to share that experience with others. As I continued my studies, learned from clients, and engaged in my own therapy, I developed a passion for helping individuals through EMDR and IFS.
I am a licensed mental health counselor and registered art therapist. I specialize in working with adults who have distressing symptoms related to traumatic memories, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. I offer a variety of treatment approaches specifically for your needs; including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) internal family systems (IFS).

Clients have described me as thoughtful, easy to talk to, humorous, open-minded, and a good listener. Clients have stated that my therapy style has allowed them to feel at ease and safe when discussing their thoughts and feelings. My goal is to help you better understand all parts of yourself and guide you in healing. I am looking forward to working with you.
